privacy.
the short version: I keep your email so I can send you what you asked for. nothing tracks you in your browser. you can leave with one click.
- who is responsible

- what I keep
- your email address, when you gave it, and which page you gave it on. if you came from a video, also which app you came from and which sheet you asked for. for each email I send, I keep whether it was sent, bounced, or marked as spam, so I stop writing when that happens. that's it. no name, no phone, no tracking pixels in the emails.
- why, and on what basis
- to send you what you asked for. first the sheet, then an email now and then when I have something worth your time. the legal basis is your consent. you gave it when you left your email, and you can take it back any time with the unsubscribe link. I never sell, rent, or trade the list.
- who else touches it, and where
- the emails go out through Resend. the list is stored with Neon. the site runs on Vercel. all three are companies in the United States, so your address is stored and handled there, under their standard data protection contracts. each one keeps the data only to do its one job.
- analytics and cookies
- I count page views with PostHog, with no cookies. nothing is stored in your browser, and the visitor id lasts one page view. your IP address is not kept. no event has your email or anything that names you. that is why there is no cookie banner.
- how long
- until you leave, or ask me to delete it. after you leave, your address stays on a do-not-email list. that way you never hear from me by accident. nothing else is kept.
- how to leave
- every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. one click, no login, no "are you sure". you're off the list the same second.
- what you can ask for
- a copy of what I have about you, a fix, or all of it deleted. you can also ask me to limit what I do with it. reply to any email from me, or write to hi@adinashby.com. it's done in a few days, and always within a month. if you live in the EU or the UK and think I got it wrong, you can also complain to the data protection office where you live.
